Théâtre Sans Frontières creates a rich and diverse theatre which explores and celebrates cultural exchange. Dedicated to creating a European theatre of excellence, the company produces and tours plays by world authors in their original language. Since 1991, TSF has produced over 40 shows in English, French, German and Spanish and toured extensively to theatres, arts centres, schools and colleges throughout Scotland, Wales, Ireland and recently to festivals in Tunisia, Egypt and China. TSF is renowned for its vibrant and visually-driven productions which are accessible to all. The performances are enhanced by mime, mask, puppetry, clowning, dance and live music.
Théâtre Sans Frontières performers and directors have trained with international masters Philippe Gaulier and Monika Pagneux. They have worked with, amongst others: the Royal National Theatre; Compass Theatre Ltd; Northern Stage; Théâtre Répère, Canada; Robert Lepage; John Wright; Marcello Magni; Pete Brooks; Joff Chafer; and Angela de Castro. The company collaborates regularly with performers, directors and choreographers from around the world.
