Welcome to Théâtre Sans Frontières’ Education Home Page. This is the page for you if you are a teacher or tutor of a day class, evening class, language club or any other club or class we may have missed out!
We provide a variety of productions to help motivate your students. These include productions in English with simple French like Around the World in 80 Minutes, a madcap global romp designed for pupils beginning to learn a language (children aged 7-11, school years 3-6, KS 2). Back in theatres throughout the UK in autumn 2007.
We also do all-French productions like the smash hit Aladin et la Lampe Enchantée, performed in simple French. Productions like this are better for slightly more experienced speakers i.e. pupils who have been learning French for two years or more (children aged 9-13, school years 4-8, KS 2 and 3). These shows are also perfect for adult education classes.
In addition to this we create adult productions like Como Agua para Chocolate, a Spanish adaptation of Laura Esquivel’s famous novel. This critically acclaimed production will be touring to theatres in late spring 2008. Shows like this tend to have more mature subject matter and contain a more challenging level of language. These productions are suitable for students learning languages at GCSE level and above.

As well as theatre productions we create shows that are specifically designed to tour into schools. Conte Dorés will be touring schools in spring 2008.
To support our productions we provide education packs, free of charge for teachers and students who have booked to see the show. The packs are designed to prepare students for the show so they have a more enriching experience. Packs include a number of activities for the students to take part in both before and after the performance.
